I cant seem to get the new screws into the steering wheel and into the adapter its like theres no threads?

I use this on a jetski so for “extra” protection I use dielectric grease on the cradle connection and the pins on the unit. This thing went bad after I made a new application of grease. Would the grease cause damage??? Any help would be much appreciated!!!!

So let me get this straight. When I do hook up all my fishing equipment on my charter cruiser. I'd hook it to a deep cycle. When I just wanna start my boat, run my lights and listen to music. I'd use a starter battery?

Hey Dan! Recently started following. I was charging my 3 interstate batteries with my pro sport HD 20 - 3 channel. One of my batteries began hissing and was extremely hot. The charger didn’t indicate any issues but it freaked me out while changing oil haha. Is this a normal thing or is a new battery needed? Appreciate your help and love the videos

Hi there , I've been trying to open .rsd files on my pc but not being able to do so. I've searched for tools but didn't find any. Is there any software that can open/read .rsd files or can convert it in a more accessible file type like .csv or that sort of things? How do I actually extract the location wise depth data from these rsd files?

I always have used the uni, and I just melt and spread the tag end so it doesn't pull out....I've always thought it's easier to tie.

If you scrape with fingernails, be sure to scrape only in areas the decal will cover up. Even fingernails will scratch the finish. I know from previous experience. 😒

Hi Dan! thanks for the video. This is really going to help me connect my 12v's in Series. Quick question, you did recommend 1 bank per battery when charging. I only have one charger, would it be ok to fully charge one battery then charge the other or do you recommend getting two chargers? TIA

Basecamp discontinued, I think they expect you to use Active Craptain which as we all know is unreliable and clunky for managing anything. You sort of can use Basecamp but it's really designed for land use and mobile devices and is terrible at track and waypoint management.

I’ve had my 2019 Terrova riptide with the GT54 transducer working great for two years. Just last week the dreaded interference started. When I take the transducer off the motor housing interference starts. So something changed inside the Terrova motor.

I loved this video and the on board battery charger install video so much that I decided to do the same with my boat! Next is removing the old & installing new decals on the cowl cover. Lol!!!

So I just stumbled on your page and watched this video and went to Amazon to check the charger out and it has poor reviews written on it. Saying the charger lasts only a year and the plug is for European use and I wanna know if since you have made this video if you have had any problems with it ? If I buy this I can just drive to Cabela’s and get it .

great video and helped a lot. But i connected the network cable between my two 106 ultra units and noticed it getting quite warm to the touch is this normal. I got worried that i was going to fry something and disconnected it. the cable came with my new livescope unit i will be adding to my system. not sure what the problem is. is it possible the cable is faulty ?

Way too much over explaining. In 4 minutes you have said “charging plug needs to be on a switch with a fuse.” At least 10 times without getting onto showing it. Less talking and more showing would bring your view count up. I had to find a different video because of this dragging on and on. Not trying to tear you down, but an offer some constructive criticism.

I have 2 batteries sla one starter battery n 1 house battery...l want to replace sla battery with a 12v 50amp lithium battery....do l need something to get the alternator to recharge lithium...

Great video, I have a low hour 2014 all freshwater 115 and it works but sounds like it is cavitating internally vs the smoother hydraulic whine that is normal... I may be due and I will try 5 star, They are close by...
